Dear Planet Street,

I would like to purchase a 20gb download off you :P Due to us only having a 10gb limit, It would take me... months to get this file, and you guys have the highest limit that I know of, so I was hoping you'd do it for me.

No it's not Porn.

It's come to this unit's attention that Paul and Aaron are both having parties on the 21st at Planet St.

I don't really have a problem with this if no-one else does (partially because I'll be at work).

Hey all,

Have talked to Ross and co and he has greenlighted a gathering a Planet Street.

Where: Planet Street, you all know that!

Why: Im going away to Europe for 2 months on the 23 July, Id like to catch up with a lot of you before I go.

When: Saturday the 21st July if people can make it. Otherwise it can be changed to the Friday.

What: What will be doing? Will hopefully be a "ye olde" night at Planet street with video games, laughter, evil shenanigans, drinking and maybe even more. We'll see how it goes. If anyone has requests for consoles or games I can bring some down.

This Sunday (10/6) will be the much anticipated return of Orkgame, I have arranged to do that thing where we do Supa Golf in the morning, followed by lunch then Orkgame in Kings Park till evening. Most of you are aware of this already, this is just a reminder of the details.

Supa Golf is booked for 11:20am, cost is $12 per person for the nine holes, which will see us through to about 1pm. I have booked for 10 people (Myself, Reaps, Danica, Nathan, Chris, Alan, Alex, Ross, Georgia, Junek), I hope I didn't miss anyone who wanted to go, but tee-offs are in groups of four so there are two more spaces we could probably squeeze in on the day (of course letting me know before hand makes this easier :P) If anyone in the above doesn't want to participate thats cool too, you can either just come along and watch or rock up at Kings Park for the game (If you're in it.) Either way let me know.

Lunch will be wherever, but bear in mind the cafe at Supa Golf is pretty shit so I advise somewhere on the way to Kings Park. Roleplaying will be wherever we find a decent spot in KP(if weather sucks it may be shifted to Planet, but hopefully not)

Ork Game Thing part two
I just realised that a possible solution to the whole easter sunday problem with my previous proposal is that we could hold it on Easter Monday- thats a public holiday for everyone right?

The Next Gorkamorka Game
Alan, Danica, Junek, Nathan, Reaps and Ross:

Not this Sunday but Sunday the weekend after I plan to run the next session of Gorkamorka. Also, I believe several people were interested in SupaGolf so here's my plan:

We all head out to SupaGolf Sunday morning (around 11am) and do a 9-hole course ($12pp). After this we go have lunch somewhere, perhaps a beach or something, then head over to Kings Park around 2pm and ork it up till the sun goes down.

Possible problems: I think this is Easter Sunday- pretty sure SupaGolf is open, but peoples may want to be with families. I also don't know whats up with Bunnings and Easter, Ross may be working.

If we can get this done it should be a pretty rad day. If not, I'll try and arrange it for one of the Sundays afterwards.

Let me know if you can/cant do this- preferably by this weekend (I will be at Planet sometime after Friday this weekend) so I can book SupaGolf if necessary. Of course, non-orkgame players are more than welcome to come too!

Ork Game pt 2: The Orkening
I really want to get this started, but arranging a time suitable for the whole group this weekend seems to be a problem, Alan: Are you ok with me running it this Saturday, then having you join in the second session on a day and time more suited to the whole group?

If not I may have to postpone till next week.

Edit: Ross, Nathan, Reaps, Junek: Game is this Saturday night.

Ork Game
I plan to run my awesome system ork game this saturday evening/night, confirmed players are:

Explanation of the game and character creation will be on the day, although feel free to make up rough characters (80CP) beforehand. I could also fit in one more player if anyone else really wants to play, but six is the absolute max I want to take on for my first game.

If anyone has trouble with this day, let me know.

Hey guys
I have decided to run my first Awesome System game! I am looking for about five (5) interested parties who would like to play and think they could handle the (many) mistakes I am bound to make :P

The game will be in the GorkaMorka setting, so you will be playing orks, and there will be a few extra rules and details I will run through with whoever wants to play. I plan to run this at Planet St, but I do not have a day or time in mind- this is up for suggestion. I am pretty much ready to run the game right away so as soon as there are players and an available timeslot I would like to start :)

Let me know if you are interested (either here or when I am at Planet on the weekend)

Jeff and I are having a joint birthday party at Planet Street on the 13th of January.

I would talk it up and post dumb .gifs but our party is better than that so I dunno whatever.

PS you have all now been officially consulted about this party. The masses will vote with their feet about what kind of party they prefer.

kiss my ass if you don't like it, I don't care

A Very Planet Christmas
In the interests of supplying everyone with food/drink could you please, if you plan to attend, provide a plate of food* or something to drink**.

* It could be a bag of chips, a cold chicken or some meat for the barbeque.
** One bottle of coke or a carton of beer, whatever.

Keep in mind that anything you bring in this vein will be communal, not yours alone. If you could comment with what you plan to bring that would rule.

To my dismay, someone has missplaced my DVD of FAMILY GUY SEASON 5.

It was ashame to leave it at Planet St the day i bought it and, out of my generosity, left it there because there were people watching it.

It now has been almost a month since i have seen it, and hope i do not have to buy another with my very limited funds.

If people who read this can keep an eye out for it that would be good as i do wish to get it back so i can watch it for myself.

Also a white "DEXTER" hat has been misplaced at planet and wish to have that aquried back aswell.

Thanks to anyone with info to the whereabouts of these two items.

Thatchers Pool Party, not at Planet.
Leave Planet St, come to the pool...

Due to the fact im likely to have my own house next year and my parents getting a tad annoyed at the missing silverware over the year, this will be the last of the "Thatcher's parents are on Rottnest pool parties."

For your enjoyment there will be an 18m long swimming pool excellent for volleyball and general aquatic fun, a BBQ which will be burning the finest in dead animals or tofu for your consumption and a fire pit which will heat the cold of the evening.

Aside from the burning meat, softdrinks and other nibblies will be provided.

BYO booze, bathers, towel and pillow if you want to crash. There is a huge amount of crashing space available.

Who is welcome: You, if you are part of Planet_st you are automatically awesome enough to come along, if you are still not sure, ask Reaps, he will know who i would actually want to let in. If you dont know Reaps or myself, then you shouldnt even be part of this community, dont show up.

When: Saturday December 16th 11am onwards (these things usually finish sometime in the am on Sunday)

Where: 469 Riverton Drive, Riverton. Nearest crossroad is Midway St. Dont park in the driveway, either park at the deli 50m down the road or on the vacant lot opposite. (Watch the sand though, every year i have to tow someone out)

RSVP: Not essential, but appreciated so i can get an idea of how much food to get.

p.s. All the silverware has now been stolen, so if you were after that last fork to complete the set too late. Anyone trying to steal the copperware will have bits of themselves escorted off the premises.
